Had a bit of a scare yesterday! I thought the blueberry batch was ruined! Turns out that was I hallucinating. I thought I saw mold/junk floating in it. Turns out that was just because I lifted it up in a rather "Brawny Man" fashion, disrupting the lees. Also the top had some weird white floating things. I thought these were spores of some sort. Again wrong. I picked it up again today and intentionally gave it a swirl or two...the white stuff moved in a similar fashion that a "fizz" on a soda would. My guess is that it is left overs, or continued fermentation. I'm going to keep my eye on it. If the "white stuff" gets worse or I see huge chunks of crap suspended within this batch is going to go down the drain. :(
Oh well.
