UPDATE - Blueberry Melomel

A first things first:

I forgot to post my Original Specific Gravity (OG) with my original post concerning this mead. It was roughly 1.075 ( the hashes on the meter were a little hard to read).

Anyways, last night before bed I took another "bubble reading" and found it at 24 seconds per bubble. This concerned me so I hit up a few forums, wondering if my fermentation was slowing/stopping prematurely. My current Specific Gravity of that was not measurable as the meter sank straight to the bottom of the carboy. If I had to guess the Current Specific Gravity (CG) is about .990-1.00 which would yield a mead of 10-11% Alcohol by Volume (ABV). Which is right about where I had planned this one.

This morning was an even bigger surprise the bubble reading was 31 seconds per bubble. From all my readings and meads that have worked out, this mead is done fermenting. I am waiting to hear back on the forums though before I go any further.

I will keep you posted!
